BlissCARES MISSION
Bliss CARES is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to collaborate with Bliss Health allowing them the ability to improve medical care in Florida. Bliss CARES is doing so in a way where all groups include but not limited to uninsured and underinsured individuals who need treatment for HIV, Hepatitis and/or those at risk of STD’s. The focus being prevention medicine, Bliss CARES continues to create and facilitate Bliss Health with programs and the support needed in achieving commons goals in the interest of the environment and communities.
BlissCARES Vision
Our vision at BlissCARES is to strengthen communities by enhancing and supporting programs that help treat, prevent, and significantly decrease the numbers of STD’s, HIV and Hepatitis in the state of Florida. Bliss CARES is doing so in comprehensive and interdisciplinary ways despite all social barriers as well as being uninsured or underinsured.
Who is Eligible for BLISS CARES?
The financial assistance program, available to any Florida resident, is based on the US Federal Poverty Guidelines. Individuals with a gross FPL (federal poverty level) income less than 500% may qualify for Bliss CARES financial assistance, regardless of insurance status. Calculate your FPL using this calculator.
BLISS CARES also provides financial assistance for individuals with health insurance in the form of assistance with copays and prescription drug costs.
